I pursued a career in therapy out of my enjoyment of people and my value of relationships.  In the 25 years since, It’s been my privilege to walk with people of all ages, cultures, beliefs and backgrounds through some of life’s most difficult situations. 

I offer empathy, nonjudgment, validation and a safe space while you sort through the barriers to the life you want. Therapy is a collaboration.

You are on your own individual path and you bring to therapy unique strengths, needs and values.  I see my role as honoring that as I act as your companion and guide towards better relationships and a better you. 

I will listen, offer options, amplify choices, examine the power of your beliefs, promote radical acceptance, and foster love.  My own faith as a Christian also guides my life and practice.  I welcome your spirituality and faith into the therapy room at your request.

My most successful clients recognize that there are no formulas or magic solutions to life’s challenges.  They know that life and therapy are hard work that involves trial and error and will require them to be open to changes in the way they think or act.  They are growth-minded and solution-focused.
